Follow the official Rules & Regulations for Cyberthon 2025!
General Rules
- Each team can have a maximum of 3 members.
- Teams or individual must select and work on only one problem statement.
- All solutions must be submitted before the specified deadline.
- If plagiarism is detected in any submission , the team or individual will be immediately disqualified.
- College faculty approval must be uploaded during registration via the Google form.
- At least one participant from the registered team must be present in-person for the grand finale round.
- Note: The mentor of the team is not considered as part of the team member.
- Participants are responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings.
- Participants must keep the venue clean, follow a proper dress code, and maintain discipline.
- Travel expenses are to be borne by the participants themselves.
- Event timings are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST .Plan your timelines accordingly.
- If the choosen problem statements involves hardware components , teams or individual must bring the necessary components. The organizing team will not provide hardware related components.
- College students must bring their college ID (a photocopy is also acceptable) for the grand finale.
- Valid bank account details must be provided for prize money processing. Standard processing times apply.
- All project work must be done during the Hackathon, and the code repository must be initialized at the start of the event.
- Teams may use libraries, frameworks, or open-source code but pre-developed projects or open-sourced solutions solely for this event are not allowed.
- Product development must stop once the allotted time is up. Minor debugging and fixes are permitted post-deadline.
- The organizers have the discretion to disqualify teams or individuals for rule violations, unsporting behaviour , or breaches of the code of conduct.
- Hackathon judging criteria rules will be revealed an hour before the event starts.
- In case of discrepancies, the final decision rests with the organizers.
- Participants should follow our social media handles for qualifying the grand finale.
Cyberthon 2025 Rules
- The problem statement PPT and approval must be uploaded during registration.
- Any plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Teams or individuals are prohibited from sharing information outside their team or individuals and may face disqualification for doing so.
- Teams or individuals may bring faculty members (optional).
- Participants may select a mentor (optional).
- Complete and submit all phases of the project within the specified deadlines.
- Communication should only occur via the registered email ID.
- From all registered teams, the top 75 teams will advance to the grand finale.
- At the grand finale , teams or individuals must have atleast 75% of their solution completed and present a final PPT.
- Extra bonus points will be awarded for maintaining proper version control in GitHub.
- Follow the provided sample PPT template for submission.
- Regularly check the Cyberthon 2025 website for any updates.
- Teams or individuals interested in donating their projects for public use are welcome to do so.
- The top 3 prize winners must submit their projects to the relevant sector departments through the organizers.
